[Mario's Castle Collab 2]

Blowing life back into the sprite genre.

I always loved mario mishaps type of videos back in the old days. But there came a point where the jokes became simple and the quality of the animation became worse.
But this one breathed full life back. Good pacing, amazing pieces between the good ol stuff, put toghether well. No sync problems whatsoever.

The only problem I had with the video is the order. I believe the 2nd video should have definantly started as opener. And the first video would have fitted better as the last.

Makes me feel like last guy in human centipide

You know sometimes when a collab is made, the individual speciality is kind of lost in the progress. And sometimes even when someone cannot be arsed to make the ending properly and just rush it, ussually there is a certain forgiveness as the general feeling and theme of the movie that ussually compensates for this.

But all the artist here make shit, and their specialty is to add a twist to that shit. Pacmanic is decent shit twister and masteraardvark is the master. These guys can turn shit to pure gold. Adding hulallaoo the manmade emotion venting machine ( venting his every day frustrations in shit themed testeron packed animations ) and adding spazkid's confrontational humor ( making fun of worse shit to make his shit look better ) and love for dicks, could have made this team and animation pure gold ( in theory ). However...since the individuality was lost this video leans more to just being shit.

No matter this is newgrounds, enjoy the frontpage and dont forget to mail videos like this to some your family in real life to get a fucking reality check once a while ;)

You know whats funny?

A japanese 14 year old animator could look at this video and other ng videos and laugh his ass off at the really bad animation. A comedian could laugh his ass off the scripts written here. And profesional voice actors ( you know those people that are actually known outside of ng and get a job ) could in fact laugh his ass off about the voice acting quality. But you know what they got in common? They are fucking douchebags.

When someone starts the sentence "I know its not great, boohoo", i want to punch him in the face. He is just a product of his surrounding douchebags in which he finds himself somewhat unworthy.
You are proud of this bitch or you wouldnt put it online, admit it. Stop being a fucking pussy boy and do what you like in life and stop pretending that animation is something more than pleasing sweating virgins or that you need reckonition of people spending their time drawing dicks and making fun other animators.

You know what I do for my life? I create PID regulators systems to pump 2kg of water into 0.5 kg of chicken so you basicly eat water for 5,5 dollar, I pump charcoal into whitebread to make you think your eating brown bread with lots of fibers while cancer is just a month away, I make calculations if its durable to start a factory just to pump garbage ( N ) into the gas to make your energy bill go higher for each liter while you house will never get warm.

And Im fucking proud of it...well mostly because of the 60k a year earnigs and fucking people over. Problem is, though im a douchebag, I could be more of a douchebag to judge a flashanimator his job while hes having a good time making it and constantly self praise my income compared to that of a random animator. ( And therefor I like to spend most my time reviewing movies here ;) )

But its all fake. The reality is there will always be people better than you and while thats the case everyone is expendable at the same time. If I die, the next douchebag will take my place and if you die some loser will make a flash movie of it and more losers will post comment on that movie and take your place. So best thing one could do is stand up, smile and have damn good time on this planet.

And newgrounds used to stand for that smile, where profesional animators would have to share their work with movies what looked like 14 year old drawin skills ( american 14 year old drawing skill ), because it was evenly entertaining. We all knew there was a difference in quality, but we didnt care if the joke came across. I say let those times return to us.

Most movies with your name on it rice pirate are decent projects but even if only you liked doing it but had fun doing it I would praise you from the depths of my heart....that is if you wouldnt have pussied ut in your commentary and making a movie making fun of animators who cant get their creativity started with the help of some dick drawing douchebag ;)

As an animation hobbyist, I'm not particularly confident about my skills or execution, especially because this is new for me. I'm proud that I made it, but I'm not particularly proud of the result. I didn't expect folks to like it as much as they did.

The animation was really meant to showcase the people who think "having the tools will do the work for them". It wasn't meant to poke fun at people who genuinely wish to create, or who genuinely understand the need to learn.

My disclaimer wasn't meant to be "Boo-hoo, I'm new at this, so be nice vote 5" It was meant to be "Hey, I'm new at this, so if you got advice/tips, please leave them." And some people have left some very helpful criticisms.

Everyone starts somewhere, and some people find it helpful to see how others start and (hopefully) progress. That's all I meant ;)

If you survived the entire weekend on goldenpower and red bull to have your monday start with a 14 hour workday from 6 am and start drinking a couple liter of beer to flush down some left over dried shrooms you find behind the heater at night. ( And watch this delight. )

You tend to enter the zone where giving a honest review, is probably no longer an option. I have become like a fat pregnant walrus just wanting to be handfed fiddler crabs. And by fiddler crabs I mean the large ammount of the massive nostalgie that this video seems to give me on a subconsious level.

[American Pokemon]

Predictable, easy, shocking and sick.

I think its your style when you have a joke you tend 2 smear it over the entire video and you have a clean american type style animation, with quick over the line jokes in the end. Sometimes it feels cheap but you tend to write out the lines well and your flash becomes a jewel. But this time the idea simply didnt fit your style.

If you let this joke idea to another flash animator, we would have gotten something better. If a guy made this with crayon or kid like animation it would have been less confronting and the jokes could have been enjoyed more or if you let this joke to the likes of lazy muffin you would have gotten a certain flow between crossing the border and jokes as comic relief to the horrible situation. Hell he would probably actually make a pokemon come out of that ball as a suprise or something.

Your flash however was over the top from the beginning and went beyond each step with somewhat predictable jokes given the situation. Which really didnt help the cheap shocking feeling it gave me. So I can expect people to laugh at the surprise of this confrontation but it is really in fact a shocking piece of shit. And I have seen a wtf japan movie on youtube where a doctor was jerking off a embryo with camera zooming in on the action.

And if animator puts in hard work in the graphics and animation I normally still give a decent grade but I dont want to see anything like this ever again. I must have seen maybe over couple thousands of videos but this was definantly not a good experience. Normally when you get a movie like this it has some hidden meaning to redeem it all but here it looked like nothing more than making fun a delirious child with a large tumor who slowly got pale and died.

[2 Guys & a Jigsaw Puzzle]

Amazing

First I didnt want to watch this video because of the somewhat empty title, but I was glad that I did ;). Animation was well done, hidden message was nice and voice acting fitted well with the cool facial expression. You exspecially did a good job on the mouths.

I also liked the embedded message you had in this movie. But also realise that the solving of the puzzle will lead to an somewhat unromantic idea that doesnt give any closure of purpose to life to many people. I mean ask yourself this: "If you die tommorow what would your part have been in this puzzle?".

But though I think that faith can be good for a person the whole exploitation of people who have faith ( religion ) is just rubbish. Personally I would not make fun of a guy who has faith tying all his puzzle parts toghether with fait, because each person in this life knows as much about the purpose of it than the next guy. But rather attack religion itself as its simply a money making tool.

The jokes were hit and miss. Graphics were barely doable and sometimes it felt lazy and rushed. The sound/music quality was off.
Your previous work tied it all toghether, graphics fitted perfectly with weird humor, timing on the jokes was super.

Good job, ending bit meh

Animation was nice and voice acting was solid. The humor was good, but given the main characters interesting powers the ending was a bit abrupt.

Highly underated series

This is probably one the best on going series on ng, but not even frontpage this time ( did i miss it )? Only a daily 2nd? 10k views? Not even an own series or collection. WTF? Its stuff like this that i come to newgrounds in the first place.

Anyway, this one had a little less stuff going on than your other episodes but the conversations were better written than ever and the voice acting was as nice as always. One point of advice all your previous work had more introduction in each scene ( which fitted well with the game, you know when you entered a new room the camera would always switch around the area a bit )and created a bit of a area feeling, but in the last episodes it starts switching to fast from scene to scene.
Looking forward for the next episode because my ps2 died just after the wesker scene back in the day. But looking on youtube cutscenes stuff should really get going from this point on.

Got better and better

The first scene was not so good. The second scene was ok, but it became better and better from that point on. The only downside of this movie is the technical aspect of it. Some scenes had huge quality drops of the image quality or huge frame drops. And it was not because of the system im using, my 8 core beast only gave a 4% usage on all cores on spike lag. Which means that either flash or browser was doing the maximum it could or that it was imported on a system which wasnt really up for the task.

Still really good video as it shows the growth of the animator's skills throughout the movie. GJ
